Thanks for your interest in Ride for World Health!  My involvement in global health started with a medical research experience in rural Ghana, sponsored by my alma mater, the University of Notre Dame.  While in Ghana, I witnessed the devastating effects of maternal mortality on entire communities.  I also saw how meaningful and positive change could be accomplished by a dedicated group of people working together.  Ride for World Health is an amazing endeavor that combines fundraising and education for world health issues, cycling and cross-country adventure!

I'm originally from Cincinnati, OH and am currently a 4th year medical student at Ohio State.  I plan to enter the challenging, diverse and always entertaining world of pediatrics after graduation.  I'm excited to serve on the Leadership Team and take on the challenge of training for and completing the Ride.
