Hot Springs to Little Rock

Yesterday, we rode about 40 miles from Hot Srings, AR to Little Rock, AR -- a pretty short day by R4WH standards. Yet, somehow, we had 7 flats! Liz alone had 3 flats, much to her chagrin.

Rainy Days and Mondays

Today was my first real day on the ride, and boy, what a day! The pouring rain really threw a wrench in the regular routine -- or so I’ve been told. Maybe it’s this crazy every day.

We started the day early, picking everyone up bleary-eyed from their home stays. The rain was already coming down in sheets, but we hoped that it would clear up by the time we got to the start point for the day’s ride.
